HAPPIEST DAY IN NAN HUA HIGH
Nan Hua annual sports day – one of the happiest day in Nan Hua.cant rmb much…actually sec 1 orientation camp was one. but preferred to rite this =D
School ends as early as 11am and sports day start at 1.30pm.me and a group of friends loitered around clementi to kill time. Wanted to go kbox but no money. Waste of time. Walked back to school. Did not know the distance so long – from clementi to clementi stadium.
Finally reached the stadium. A lot of people there already. Thought we were late. After 1.30pm still got people strolling in. if I know like that, we also stroll in. it started late. Then people from 108 started going around writing words on other 108 people’s hands.103 worse. Last minute do banners for their friends who are running.106’s more exaggerated.
Sports day started. At first everybody so excited. This class cheered that class cheered.108 loudest. Then slowly everyone got so tired of cheering and then Majority never cheer. All talked among themselves. Some bought instant noodles and eat. Hardly anyone cheered.
Time to go home. Supposed to clear up rubbish. Actually 108’s no rubbish to clear. At the first place everyone already throw their rubbish into the box provided.
Wah.how come everyone one is all about orientation camp one…

My Happiest Day in Nan Hua Hmmm... the happiest day in Nan Hua... i guess its the orientation camp bah.. needless to say, the games organised were fun! there were four games that i remembered clearly... There was one game whereby we were grouped into 2 groups n the first to reach the ending point would win.. there were obstacles of cos.. my team didn't win but we had fun.. water was sprayed in us continuously throughout the game... we were determined to get revenge at that time.. hahas.. There was the other game.. the whole class have to flip the mat around with our legs on the mat... of cos the same thing, water was sprayed on us... in the middle of the game, i saw one councilor holding a big pail of water, ready to pour everything on sumone.. i couldn't control myself at that time n said " oh sharks..." little did i noe that she heard it n poured all the water on me!! oh my goodness.. i was drenched frm head to toe...it was fun! n of cos.. the blindfolding game... i forgot who was the one behind me.. the gal behind me lost track of me n was forced to separate frm me.. so i was last in the row.. n becos of that, everyone started picking on me! the councilors all tickled n sprayed water on me continuously n the feeling was unbearable!! i screamed... the councilors found it fun n tickled me more! i tried my luck n waved my arm n i hit one of the councilors.. hahas... didn't mean it but no choice.. hahas..however, my frens in front of me didn't get the treatment n wondered y i kept screaming... despite the treatment i got, it was still fun n enjoyable.. Last but not least .. the mass game! all that muddy water made us all so dirty n smelly but it was fun seeing everybody playing the game together! in the middle of the game, there was one part whereby i hav to pick a ping pong bal with a star on it, a cheeky councilor purposely poured a big pail of muddy water right on my face!!! luckily i didn't drink the muddy water... The orientation camp allowed me to know more frens n understand them better..the games were well-organised n enjoyable... the food n drinks were great... it was the happiest day in Nan Hua...

Erm…to write the happiest dae in my life in nan hua, is a bit difficult for me though. Because everydae is a happie dae to me-Can see my good pals n chat wif them non-stop. Haha(:
Well, I think the happiest dae in nanhua is the orientation camp. Though at that time we are all still quite shy, I must that we have a lot of fun-playing games, learning a mass dance, where everyone enjoys [ some even took off their shoes lol] , having cheers during the campfire…. The games are very fun though we are being [tortured]. The councilors keep pouring water at us. Till we are really drenched! & one of the game hav to do the [quack quack] thing as punishment. Haha(:
After the games, we are all so dirty le. But we are only allow a EXTREMELY LIMITED TIME to take shower. I didn’t actually took the shower. Only pour water on myself with the dirty clothes on lol.
When we learnt the mass dance, everyone are enjoying! It was very fun, as everybody dances together…one of the demonstrator is my choir senior lol….haha=)
At night, we have our CAMPFIRE! That was my first campfire! Some of the benches are wet and the field is very smelly…): everyone shouted the cheers n enjoyed themselves to the fullest.
Last, but not the least, we have to play the mass games. We rolled in the mud, being splashed with the mixture of watermelon juice plus water plus mud. Yucks! Yet, we can’t take proper shower. The councilor kept knocking at my door. The door almost open lol!
Well, though we are still not very close to each other at that time, I really enjoyed it a lot.
Hmm…that’s all I have with me.

The happiest day(s) my life in Nan Hua High School
Dear Diary,
The happiest day(s) my life in Nan Hua is the time when we had the orientation camp. As at that time we were new and did not know many classmates, thus this orientation camp built up our friendship bonds. Through the camp, we worked well with one another and understand each other better. On the 1st day of the camp, we gathered at the hall for instructions. I only knew Jia En as we were from the same primary school so we so called ‘stick’ to each other because we needed to fit into a different environment together.
During the orientation camp of two days and one night, we really enjoyed the rapport- building games we played. For example, there was a game in which a few benches were used and all of us were divided into two groups. The objective was to stand as close as possible to each other and try to get to the other end of the court. We could get bonus points if we bent down to grab the fallen stars that were far from us. This was a great challenge for all of us, I guess.
When the orientation camp, we were taught a dance- with the music- accidentali in luv. We reali enjoyed ourselves a lot… singing and dancing…I must admit it was a very fun and meaningful camp…

The happiest day in Nan Hua
Whenever I think of the happiest day in Nan Hua,I would think of the day where the class picnic.was held. On the first week of school, I felt really lonely and awkward as I do not know anyone apart from Dawn who is in the same primary school as me and to say the truth,I was really disappointed to find out that two of my close friends who have the same results as me have been posted to other classes But, I told myself that I would make friends. I awaited the day which the picnic is to be held with bated breath. It finally comes.
The night before the picnic, I adjusted the time setting of the clock so that it would wake me up punctually at 5.30pm the next morning. Soon,I fell asleep. ‘‘Ring! Ring!’’ I jumped out of my bed and skipped to the toilet to wash my face and brush my teeth. After that, I made my way to the kitchen. To my surprise, my mum was already in the kitchen cooking the egg for my sandwich.. When I saw her helping me, I felt a warm feeling spread inside my heart. I was so grateful that I practically hugged her. My mum asked me to go back to sleep, telling me not to be worried over the sandwich .But, I refused. Together, we prepared the breakfast and made the sandwiches. Within a few minutes, we were done. I went on my usual routine to wake my sister and dad up. After minutes of nagging and telling them the consequences of being late, they finally woke up. Soon,we were on our way to school.Yeah!!!!!I am not late
The picnic was undeniably a success .My sandwiches were the first few to finish. I felt so proud of myself. I chatted with the girls and soon, I made friends with one or two girls.Time flies and soon it was time to go home. I went home with a light heart hoping that as days passed, I would know more and more people from our class……….

Needless to say, my happiest day in nan hua was during the orientation camp whereby all of us was indulged in a moment of pleasure. We had fun together, splashing other with water. Even though we had just come to know each other, we seem to know each others for ages during the camp. It was also the most torturous time for us. We were forced to complete some tasks within the time limit and were drenched with some of the 'concoction' they specially made for us. Something that I disliked was that we were not given enough time to bath. However, it was still fun and we were allowed to play to our hearts鈥?content. During the night, some of us actually stayed up and chat throughout the night which gave me the chance to understand others better. This camp has indeed strengthened our bonds and will definitely leave an indelible mark in my memory.

My Happiest Day In Nan Hua
I've experienced so many happy days in Nan Hua... this is agonising. Making me choose I mean. I think this is one of my happiest days.
My happiest day in Nan Hua was the day when the chairmans of all the classes had to undergo a Leaders' Investiture. Sure, it was nerve-wrecking for me. I can bet that all the Chairmans were having butterflies in their stomachs as well. How do I know? Because they were all "OMG! That was so scary!" or something along those lines. xD We had plenty of rehearsals before the actual Investitures but there was no one in the hall except the councillors and teachers in charge.
Mrs Lim mentioned that the Vice-Chairmans and other important people in the Class Comittee will also be recognised sometime. I am not sure when or whether it is confirmed. Yay! Si Ying will be recognised as our class Vice-Chairman! =)
After the ceremony, we were summoned to the hall once again for a phototaking session. I have to admit here- I am NOT photogenic. Not at all. So it was quite unnerving. Mrs B. Lim shouted out, "Everyone! One, two...cheeese...!" It was very funny so everyone got to laugh naturally.
Another thing was, I got to meet the other class chairmans from 101 all the way to 111. I found out that there were only THREE ChairWOMEN including me. It was quite weird actually. But I think it was because of the name- Chairman. It does sounds more like a guy's job.
All of us got a certificate after the ceremony. There is only one certificate in the whole school so if we lost it, it'll be gone. After I got back to class, Mrs Chiang told me to laminate the paper and keep it safe and sound. I definitely will. =)
The Physics lesson concluded the happiest day of my life in Nan Hua

Hmm ... ... My happiest day in Nanhua was during orientation camp. It was really fun because we played many games organised by the teachers and the concillors. Some of the games made us wet and it was so cooling and fun. Unfortunately, Si Ying , Yanger , Rachel and me missed a few games because we needed to go for the netball audition. When we ended the audition , we went back and continued playing the games. The game that i thought was the most fun was the game where we get to spray the concilors back. Haha, revenge is sweet. Playing captain's ball was quite fun too. If i remember correctly ,i think we lost the game but it was still a nice game as none of us were 'sore losers'. We get to go to the campfie after dancing in the hall. The field was really muddy but overall, it was quite fun. I remembered that Axel sat on the muddy bench and his pants was all muddy. Ying Xiang and Weinan was standing on the bench , holding the flag. Thus they didn't get to sit down and this made them tired. It was all worthwile after we realise our class got jellies for having the best flag . We got to eat at last! The food tasted delicious as i was really hungry. There was a blindfold walk after the campfire but i didnt get to play as i had to head for home to rest because i have an important chess tornament the following day. Although i didn't get to experience the blindfold walk , i believe it was fun. This is my happiest day in Nanhua!

hmm…. The happiest day in Nanhua. Veri diff to choose, let me think…
there r too many happy days in Nanhua i cannot decide. Many ppl write
about the orientation camp till I think that it is too boring. It would be
good to write about something new.
I have decided to write about the day I got accepted into the table tennis
club WHOOO!!
I am so excited about this as my hard work for so many has finally paid
off. I was so worried that I may not get in. I have not train for 8 months
since I was too busy for the PSLE. I was scared that I got weaker in my
skills. During the CCA extravagation, the teacher in charge asked me to
try out. OMG I forgot to bring my table tennis racket. I used one of my
senior’s racket and although it was not as good as my own racket, I
still ‘accepted’ it. I am very sorry for criticizing your bat and till now, I
still dunnoe whose bat it is. Although I played not up to my standard,
it was not too bad. Wei Nan and some of the boys also went for trial
and WHAO such good skills. I am especially happy with my seniors
as they are very fun and funny too. Their skills are very good and I like
playing with them. hmm… I WONDER IF THEY LIKE ME TOO….
I noe some of them say I got AP but I will try to change. We got silver
this year for the WEST ZONE TABLE-TENNIS TOURNANMENT.
I hope that we will either maintain or GET A GOLD next year which
I think is impossible.
But most of all I am HAPPY to be a NANHUARIAN.
By your most loyal treasurer,
Ying Siang

Hi guys, the happiest day in NanHua will be… I cant think of anything. How?
Many of u hav wrote about the orientation camp and some the sportz
day. Maybe the orientation camp would be nice. Lets start with it.
The orientation camp was made to build a rapport around the new sec 1 students
every year. It is a 2 days 1 night stay and it was really fun. It was filled with
excitement and fun. At first, we were asked to gather at the hall for the opening
ceremony of the orientation camp. As Jonas, Ying Siang, Chang Sheng and I was
frm the same primary sch, we sat together and chat. We were all not so familiar
with the other students. After the opening ceremony, the different classes sat off
for the different stations. There was a station that needed us to use our body parts
to pass the objects to another classmate. It was very fun as some of the boys hav
to pass to the girls and they were reluctant to do so.
We had fried beehoon, fishcake and chicken wing for lunch. It was so delicious.
After lunch, we went to a most exciting station. It required us to take our things
and lay them on the staircase so that it will lead up to the higher levels. At first,
they wanted the boys to take off their shirts to lay them on the staircase. The guys
immediately protested n wanted the girls to take off their shirt too. Of course that is
ridiculous. We started to take off our shoes n socks to lay them. Some of the gals
even took off their specs n they could not see a thing. Then James became too enthu
n took off his shirt to help lay on the stairs. Wei Nan n Ying Siang followed suit n
took off their shirt. The other boys including me quickly ran up to the fifth floor to hide.
Haha wad a joke. Our class councilor viven quickly covered her eyes to prevent seeing
‘half naked bodies’ n ran away.
We were all very hungry when it was dinner time n we quickly gobbled up the delicious
food. There was then the campfire which was such a cool thing. Some of the boys were
fighting over who should wave the flag. WE GOT THE BEST FLAG!!!!!! I m so proud of it.
We then had the ‘NIGHT WALK’ which was very ‘SCARY” haha!
WE then had a good night rest n the boys slept at the classroom n the gals at the hall as they
were afraid that we would ‘DO SOMETHING TO THE GIRLS’.
We had a very disgusting morning as we were forced to do some disgusting task. We were then
poured over by buckets of ‘water’ that was filled with things that I asked frm a sec 4 councilor .
It was filled with milk, watermelon juice, water, mud, grass, paper n many more.
I should stop riting now that I HAV ALREADY WROTE SO LONG. I think I wrote the
longest among the boys haha!

Being part of the big Nan Hua family is indeed enjoyable and fun. Excitement fills me as i first stepped into Nan Hua. It is enexplainable! The first day of school, after i was in class after flag raising ceremony, waiting for the arrival of my form teacher. I thought that my form teacher would be a female. To my surprise, my form teacher turned out to be a male. I thought that he would be fierce and serious but after being with him for moments, i realised that he is a very friendly person. There are lesser male teachers than female teachers in many schools and it is rare to find such a tolerant and friendly teacher. I felt very happy at that time as i felt that our class is very privileged to have a good teacher. This is also the day where i made many new friends. This, indeed is my happiest day in Nan Hua.
#32 JONAS
My happiest day in Nan Hua was during the Literature workshop. Surprised? I guess some of u might hav forgotten this as it was quite a long while ago. I bet that none of u wrote this too rite? It was really fun as it builds up the frenship of my classmates and I. We played some games to start out wif. Then we were told to act out some scenarios in groups. It was really funny as different ppl hav different thinkings and actings and so it was fun to see each other act. Next, the teacher taught us more abt poems. She taught us abt the components of poems and how to write a poem. The teacher was veri kind and patient and she explained patiently to us if we do not understand. I found the info veri interesting as I nvr herd it b4. Afterwards, it was break time. We had doughnuts to eat. Ying Siang and James were veri greedy and ate 5-6 doughnuts each. Poor us…no doughnuts to eat…so sad…anyways I dun really bother, as I dun like doughnuts, until I found out that we hav to pay $0.50 for the doughnuts each even though if we did not eat any…I was really angry as I wasted my money for nothing. On the other hand, Ying Siang and James were veri lucky as they ate so many and yet they onli nd to pay $0.50…haiz…After our break, it was time to test our skills on writing poems. We were splitted into groups and to cr8 our own poem and hav to present it. This is the time where we hav to put our heads together and THINK. It was hard at first but when we were halfway through we found it veri fun. The best part was when we present. James and Ying Siang were reading the poem veri smoothly while Yu Heng, Chang Sheng and I were at the back doin sound effects(calefares). It was really fun listening to other ppl’s poems. I had a lot of fun and at the same time gained a lot of wisdom. It was really a nice experience. Well… I guess that’s all…
Cheers!

I could not decide which day is my happiest day!! I have so many happy moments with my friends classmates seniors etc. Hmmm.. but think about it… I think it would be the annual NPCC Day.
My happiest day in Nan Hua is when all the NPCC cadets as well as teacher in charge gather to celebrate NPCC day. I was proud to be part of the NPCC unit as we recited the pledge together and promised to do our best. Luckily for me, the Sec I squad has not received our official NPCC uniform or else I guess a lot of pple will start laughing at how I look. Haha…but for next year I would have to wear it.haha. Think that people will start teasing how I look in the uniform last year. Another lucky issue was when the whole school left the parade square and returns to their respective classes because of rainy weather. I was overjoyed because nobody could see me do drills and recite the NPCC pledge except for my NPCC cadets and teacher in charge of course.
Well I must say, the NPCC might be quite tough at some time but fun in other ways. In NPCC, u have to have the team spirit as well as teamwork to achieve results. We also does things as a whole. If one person does something wrong, the whole squad would be punished because of the mistake made by the person.
I hope that there would be happy moments for my 4 years stay in Nan Hua. Moments in which I would never forget… That’s all I have to say for now. Bye!

My happiest day in Nan Hua High School is the orientation camp. There was no lesson on that day but I had to stay in the school for one day!! I felt very uncomfortable as there was no air-conditioner. The camp is about team spirit and it enabled me to make friends with others. The activities are very interesting especially the ‘captain’s ball’. We were organized into two groups. Our team had better team spirit and co-ordination, so we won.
I was introduced to some new classmates. We chit-chatted and found out the backgrounds and hobbies from each other. Some of them cracked jokes and were real jokers.
After that orientation camp, I made more friends and did not feel that miserable anymore.
I enjoyed the camp very much!!
